This song is for you
When a song feels personally addressed — intimacy between singer and Beloved.
"This song is for you", by Ac. Cidrupananda Avt.
I remember very clearly the day when Baba gave the Prabháta Samgiita Nº 4185. Kolkata was getting cooler. Marga Guru Quarter Madhu Málainca was decorated with beautiful marigolds. The soothing and sweet smell of the flowers were emanating incessantly…it was a mystical environment. We all were waiting for His Divine Darshan… everdy body was amazed singing “Vijane base bhávi dubelái, tribhuvane ár mor keho nai…” Sweet Lord came out of the room in His usual Namaskar mudra and His Divine Halo was so visible!
Maha Sambhuti asked the devotees whether they had understood the meaning of the song. A silence invaded the whole ambient. Lord explained: “This song is revealing one of the most secret aspects of sádhaná: that the spiritual path is the path of aloneness. It is path of conscious evolution.”

Prabháta Samgiita Nº 4185 (08/11/1987) Madhu Málainca
Sitting alone, I keep thinking both morning and evening
I continue watching that the sun rises and sets.
The moon comes and smiles, that too I watch.
It is that entity that really exists and will remain.
Only For Him I sing the song with full engrossment.

It was 09/11/1987… was the following day when BABA gave the song “Vijane base bhavi dubelai…”(PS 4185). I was sitting in front of the door of His bedroom at 4.30 am. When everybody used to prepare for paincajanya, I used to sit in front of His bedroom. Everyday BABA used to ask: "Ke acho? (Who is there?) I used to say "BABA, Tomar Cidrupananda (BABA, Your Cidrupananda). That day the Lord asked me: “Cidrupananda do you like this song?” I replied “yes BABA.” Prabhu told - “This song is for you. My songs are the earnest urges of the devotee’s heart. They don’t know how to express them. I do the job for them.”
I got lost into Bliss listening HIS sweet and amorous voice.
“Dear one, you are the son of that Unknowable Entity, you have come from that Mystery which cannot be known, only you can live it, you can enjoy it and slowly & slowly that Mystery will absorb you. You will be lost into that Mystery.
Human being is a bridge between animality and Divinity. You have passed millions of animal lives and it is known to you. You are familiar with that.
The Divinity is only a possibility dormant in you, not only possibility… it is your desideratum. The Divine is calling you. This call is vibrating in the core of our heart. But He is unknowable for you. Whoever crosses the bridge gets mingled with Him and nobody can come back to proclaim that I have got HIM, I have reached Him. Whoever crosses the bridge gets lost into that Mystery.
This journey from animality to Divinity is called Sádhaná… And the achievement of Sádhaná is Love.
And Sádhaná is path which takes you to the highest peak of human consciousness which is called Love.
Only mystics know Love. Other than mystics there is no category of human beings which has ever experienced Love. If you want to know love you will have to enter into the world of the mystic.
Love is the fragrance of a silent, peaceful, meditative heart. Love is the flight of your consciousness to higher realms, beyond matter and beyond body.
Love is a by-product of a rising consciousness. It is just like a fragrance of a flower.
When the spring comes and you suddenly start flowering, blossoming, and you release your potential fragrance. Sharing that fragrance, sharing that grace, sharing that beautitude is love. (Beautitude means having the boons of the beauty).
As you become more and more an open…a lotus of consciousness, you will be surprised …with a tremendous experience which can only be called Love. You are so full of joy, so full of bliss; each fiber of your being is dancing with ecstasy. You are just like a rain cloud that wants to rain and shower. The moment you are overflowing with bliss, a tremendous longing arises in you, to share it.
If you really want to know Love, forget about Love and do your Sádhaná. If you want to bring roses into your garden, forget about roses, and take care of the rosebush. Give nourishment to it, water it, take care that it gets the right amount of sun, water. If everything is taken care of, in the right time the roses are destined to come. You cannot bring them earlier, you cannot force them to open up sooner, and you cannot ask a rose to be more perfect.
Love is a rose in your being. But prepare your being; dispel the darkness and the unconsciousness. Become more and more alert and aware and Love will come on its own accord, in its own time. You need not worry about it. And whenever it comes it is always perfect.
First you have to be full of light, and full of delight – so full that you start overflowing. That overflowing energy is Love. Then Love is known as the greatest perfection in the world. It is never less, and never more.
Love is the highest peak of the human consciousness.”
